Sign Engraving Queensland

Signage Engraving for Queensland this sign was made for a leading dental studio in Queensland. The customer wanted to incorporate a very modern blended logo in the design, here we discuss the two signage manufacturer techniques.

The panel is an anodized raw sheet of Aluminium trimmed to size, then engrave letters were set up ready using a computerized file, the Aqua Blue water droplet pictograph is high definition digital printing onto a self adhesive sticker material.

Combining Engraving and Printing Technology for Modern Signage

This work is exceptional and far superior to 5 years ago when most engraving performed was by a pantograph method or careful hand magnified technique.

The water droplet is digitally printed on SAV, then cut out leaving the rear Aluminium exposed.

The first line of text is engraved, then filled with a black paint using a syringe to achieve a smooth paint flow to all bottom surfaces.

The thin blue line is digital printed to match the color of the droplet.

The lower line is a different Grey color. This technique of slightly changing the color value is a great tip for altering the perceived secondary or primary importance without losing height or impact. Looks great.
